LIPPMANN TO EXHIBIT 3048 JAW AND 4248LP
IMPACT CRUSHERS AT CONEXPO-CON/AGG ’05

CUDAHY, WI – Lippmann will be exhibiting its reliable and popular 3048 Jaw Crusher and 4248LP Impact Crusher at CONEXPO-CON/AGG ’05.

Lippmann’s 3048 Heavy-Duty Jaw Crusher is designed for high volume crushing applications. It features a larger stroke, deeper crushing motion, and steeper nip angle for higher capacity and greater throughput. A one-piece cast pitman stands up to the most demanding crushing applications. Huge oversized heat-treated shafts forged of special alloy handle overloads and hard material. Extra large, radial thrust tapered roller bearings absorb and withstand extreme shock, radial and thrust loads and offer substantially more bearing life than competitive models. Lippmann jaws are built much heavier, with stronger, massive one-piece frames, stress-relieved for optimum reliability. The 3048 is available with hydraulic adjustment, saving countless hours, allowing the setting to be adjusted while crushing. The crusher also features toggle-bearing wedges for easy in, easy out bearing replacement. Hardened barrel wear liners protect the pitman, and replaceable tow wear liners are on the swing and stationary jaw.

The 3048 Jaw is the heart of Lippmann’s renowned 3048 Portable Jaw Crushing Plant, available with diesel or electric drive, modular skid-mounted feed hopper, and front discharge conveyor. The plant offers easy transportability, maximum productivity and operating economy.

The 4248LP is a Primary Impact Crusher, a brute that features a heavy-duty rotor truly built to handle the daily punishment of crushing reinforced concrete, asphalt and other construction and demolition debris in recycle applications. For aggregate applications, the 4248LP offers a greater reduction ratio and produces a high quality, uniform cubical product. The machine produces a variety of materials including highly cubical Superpave aggregates, while lowering cost per ton. Built for rugged durability and simplicity of operation, the 4248 is an Andreas-type design. Hammers have four crushing positions to maintain a more constant gradation and top size control. Maintenance is simple through inspection doors or the hydraulically opened hood, and electric/hydraulic power unit is standard. Lippmann offers long life wear components with advanced metallurgy.

The 4248LP is the heart of Lippmann’s 4800 Series Portable Impact Crushing Plants, the ultimate, completely self-contained impact crushing units designed for maximum efficiency, performance, ease of transportability, set-up and tear-down.
