Its large feed opening, and force-feeding action from the inward and downward eccentric movement of the swing jaw, means increased capacity. Longer curved jaw dies, a non-choking crushing action design, and a larger eccentric throw result in a reduction in nip angle, a more positive bite, and greater ratio of reduction.
A Lippmann jaw can have a smaller discharge setting, allowing for a higher degree of flexibility with related equipment. Positive setting adjustment is easy.
